Fish tacos were AMAZING!! Mezze was okay, guac was delicious but the hummus was not good. The table next to us also hardly touched their hummus. Nice light lunch. We'd come back for other items for sure! But no to the hummus ever again. Service was great. Ambiance was nice. Prices were reasonable. They do automatically charge an 18% gratuity fee in case you didn't know.

I was staying in the Venetian and wanted to eat something light before going to the cirque de soleil. I passed in front of this place a few times and liked the vibe from the outside, so I decided to give it a try. I had the beet salad with chicken on the side. Both dishes were good. Unfortunately I was too full so I couldn't try any dessert. Will be back to try different things.

The food was very good. Lots of flavorful small dishes to start and excellent entrees to choose from as your main. Staff was very nice. Danny who was bartending and might even be the bar manager had a wealth of knowledge about the mezcal and other spirits. After some mezcal knowledge and drinks on night one we were absolutely stoked to have dinner there the following night. Very glad we did. We will be back and will be recommending CHICA to all of our traveler friends.

Ideally, I'd give Chica a 3.5/5. Chica at The Venetian offers a stylish escape with its dim, upscale ambiance. The atmosphere is perfect for a night out. Our server was a standout, providing excellent service and helpful recommendations. The concept of blending modern Mexican flavors with a dynamic bar program was intriguing, but it fell short of perfection in some aspects. The virgin cocktail was well-balanced, a refreshing start. However, the Paisa breakfast bowl fell flat, lacking the necessary seasoning to elevate its components. The meat was cooked well, but the dish was overall quite bland. The Chorizo & Arpa Benedict was a better choice, with the jalapeno scallion espuma adding a delightful complexity with savory and salty notes. The fried chicken and waffle was another hit-or-miss dish. The chipotle maple syrup was exceptional (sweet with a little heat), but the chicken lacked consistent crispiness. The waffle, made with Colombian bread, was an interesting twist but didn't quite hit the mark. Saving the best for last, the Buñuelo Donuts were a standout. The combination of lemon ricotta, dulce de leche, and raspberry sauce was heavenly. Though I must add that the lemon ricotta didn't stand out as much because the flavors were very mild. We couldn't resist ordering an extra side of the sauces! Overall, Chica is a good spot for brunch.
